Superb vineyards in unique locales in the state of Washington with near-perfect seasonal growing conditions. A team who believe in winegrowing, rather than winemaking. The rituals, both modern and ancient, that transform grapes to wine. Seasoned professionals working together to make smart decisions. And that certain something that can’t be defined by logic or science – that sense of place that makes Ash Hollow wines so special. Winemaking is minimalist and traditional. The winemaking and viticulture teams strive to “make the wine in the vineyard”, working toward growing grapes that will develop wines with little intervention. Balance is the key at Ash Hollow – nature with nurture, winemaking with winegrowing. Wines with depth and character. A group of colleagues enjoying the fruits of their labor – and sharing it with old friends and new.
