Vintage Notes
Bien Nacido Vineyards® has become one of the most prestigious and best known vineyards in California. In fact, the Santa Maria appellation owes much of its reputation as a producer of world class wines to the remarkable Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah wines produced from Bien Nacido Vineyards® grapes. We source our Syrah from two blocks, both of which are farmed using biodynamic practices. With such superior grapes, the winemaking could afford to be fairly hands-off, and we feel we’ve accomplished a degree of clarity in this wine that allows the sense of place to shine through.
