Black cherry fruit punctuates the initial impression of our Anderson Valley Estate Pinot Noir. Fairly full and rich with varietal velvet, fresh earth and brooding integrated smoky oak, it remains lively and charged with a youthful buoyancy that portends extended palate pleasing performance.

Hand picked 38 tons October 3rd-6th Harvest Stats: 24.3 brix, 0.53 TA, 3.65 ph
Fermentation Notes
Morning loads only, stemmed and lightly crushed with 50% remaining as whole berries, 10% whole clusters. Average cold soak for 48 hours before inoculation with Assmanshausen yeast. No S02. Co-fermented clone selections. 12 days on the skins and double racked to all french oak. 6 months in barrel mix, 15% new French oak. Egg white fined. Filtered.
