Our 2006 Syrah displays the varietal’s classic dark purple color in the glass. On the nose it reveals intense black fruits, as well as white pepper notes and a subtle minerality. On the palate the wine is juicy and full, with ripe tannins and added hints of smoke, tar and black pepper. The wine finishes with a touch of sweet oak and chocolate. This Syrah is delicious today, but its flavors should continue to integrate and evolve in the bottle for several years.
