Our 2008 Cuvee is a classic “left bank” Bordeaux blend of 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc. Our estate Corvus Vineyard, located in the Red Mountain AVA, is the primary fruit source for our Cuvee. The wine opens up with hints of black cherry, cinnamon stick and spice on the nose. The bright fruit and firm, yet balanced, tannins become apparent as the vanilla – tobacco mid palate evolves and comes to a lingering finish. This food friendly wine pairs nicely with everyday rustic favorites. As with other quality wines, we recommend that you let the wine breathe for full enjoyment.
