This Zinfandel has a deeper, darker color than our 2003 and is a slightly livelier wine which gives a spicy aroma on the palate. We have kept this Zin in the barrel longer and feel it has added a rich toasted aroma while maintaining a nice balance of tannins. Our winemaking style focuses on maintaining the integrity of a true Zinfandel without the heavier, jammy, taste found, more commonly, in the current styles of winemaking.
