Vintage Notes
Hand picked. Early morning harvest of October 8, 2005. Brix: 24.5°. Acid: 0.7 grams/100ml. Warm, sunny days and cool ocean nights during Central Coast harvest season led to particularly mature, balanced fruit. Processed in small batches and pressed in a Willmes bladder press.
Fermentation Notes
50% barrel fermented, 50% stainless steel fermentation. 40% aged 12 months in French and American oak. Later blended with un-oaked wine, allowing for a full-bodied fruit forward Chardonnay with a crisp finish.
