STORY
Born from a celebration of love, Sofia wines began as a gift from a father to his daughter. Our sparkling wine, as bright and effervescent as the woman who inspired it, the charming and stylish Sofia Rosé, along with the alluring Riesling, are a tribute to the romantic, ebullient spirit of women everywhere.

WINEMAKER’S NOTES
Sofia Blanc de Blancs, a unique blend of Pinot Blanc, Riesling and Muscat, is a delicate sparkling wine perfect for any celebration. It offers seductive flavors, fresh aromatics and light effervescence – all packaged with striking, feminine flair.

We pick our grapes lower sugar levels to ensure that our wine has lower alcohol content. The fruit is whole-cluster pressed into stainless steel tanks for primary fermentation, and then blended before undergoing secondary fermentation using the Charmont method. Adding small amounts Riesling into the blend adds a succulent, juicy flavor of pineapple, while the inclusion of Muscat confers a gorgeous perfume of honeysuckle and apricots.

TASTING NOTES
Our 2010 Sofia Blanc de Blancs delivers delicate scents of orange blossom, lemon and apricots. Fresh, crisp and festively charming, you’ll enjoy light effervescence and elegant notes of quince, green apples, pears, and pineapple.
