Very reminiscent of our award winning 2007 vintage, this wine is the last vintage from this vineyard in Los Carneros! You will find flavors of strawberries with an earthiness and hints of tobacco which we feel makes this wine seductive and as alluring as those Pinot specimens found across the sea in France. We also continue to believe that Pinot Noir should not be masked by a lot of oak flavors; for this vintage like others, we used two and three year old French oak during the 11 months that this wine aged; allowing for a beautifully balanced wine that will improve with age over the next four to six years.
