The JR Storey Tempranillo was picked in late october to allow full development of flavors. After crushing into 1 ton fermenters the wine was punched down twice daily during a two week fermentation. The wine was press off into new and used French oak barrels for 9 months of aging before being bottled. The JR Storey Tempranillo comes from the small family owned Cielo Grande vineyard near Paso Robles. soft ripe fruit flavors create a wine of elegance and grace.
