Vintage Notes
The 2005 vintage was characterized by a moderate summer and a cooler fall. Winemakers had to be patient to harvest. The cooler temperatures allowed the sugars and acids to remain in balance, making an elegant vintage perfect for aging. In addition, winemaker, Steve Meyer selected special barrels to create this blend with an eye toward balance, rich flavor and ability to age.
