This refreshingly dry Rose was harvested at a modest sugar level from Ricci Vineyard Pinot Noir in the western portion of Carneros. A 60 hour “cold soak” on the skins extracted delicate color and flavor components prior to fermentation. The free-run juice (no pressing) was then drained to stainless steel tankfor a slow cold fermentation. It has aromas reminiscent of cherries, strawberries and rhubarb with delicate flavors to match, and a crisp dry finish. It is an ideal accompaniment to poached salmon, summer picnics, a charcuterie platter or just sitting on the back porch and enjoying the summer evening.
