VIXEN is our Rose’ wine, it is a blend of many different grapes all meant to play an important role in bringing out specific fl avors. This wine is not your typically ultra dry rose’, nor is it a very sweet blush. It is lightly sweet, while still holding to some structure and crisp dry characteristics. This Rose’ is cunning and elusive, playing on your taste buds, pulling you in and wrapping you up in fl avors, aromas, textures, and color. The fi rst thing that gets your attention is the deep color of cranberry and raspberry while the light plays off its edges holding in the nose of jasmine, plum, and rose petals. Clinging to the fl avors of raspberry, strawberry, and light plum. The tartness is balanced by just a hint of sweet. A subtle earthiness reveals its self before the impact of fl avor starts to wain, drifting slowly away unwilling to succumb to the impending end. It leaves you ready and wanting more, and what you thought was an uninhibited euphoria of fl avors that just happened by
chance, you soon realize it was by design, and the Scoundrel brought it to you, deliberately and with the intent to free your mind, at least for that moment. This wine is best drank with friends and those you care about deeply, if even for only that moment, but you can also pair it with salads, fish with heavier sauces, some chicken dishes, but best enjoyed on the cusp of a relaxing afternoon.
