Our fruit comes from two great vineyards. The first is Morrison Lane Vineyard in the heart of the Walla Walla Valley, close to Pepperbridge, where grower Dean Morrison uses traditional high trellises to give his Sangiovese a Tuscan flavor. Over in the Yakima Valley, our second lot comes from Dick Boushey where he planted his Brunello-clone of Sangiovese after falling in love with the wine on a trip to Montalcino in Italy. We brought the two diverse Sangiovese grapes and two great vineyards together in this wine made in the style of Chianti Classico with a touch of Brunello richness to round out the flavors.
